Hello world!

I thought with a hello world post that you are suppose to post some simple code, but I guess that doesn’t apply here.  My full-time (and somes more than full-time!) job is working as a SharePoint Administrator Developer.  I wanted to start a blog about a year ago as I was working on our SharePoint Portal Server 2003 rollout, but I guess time wasn’t on my side.  However, now that I am working on our 2007 upgrade, I think now is the time so hopefully I can add to an already great and strong SharePoint community.  Besides SharePoint, I am working on some ASP.NET projects, started working on a couple CRM implementations, and lastly I have always had an interest in open source technologies and scripting languagues (like Perl, Ruby and PHP), so I always have some projects working around these just to learn some new things.  So this blog will be a combination of a lot of things and hopefully someone out there will find use in some of it.

Outside of the geek word, my wife and I are new parents as of May.  Almost six months now and I can’t believe how much he has changed!  So each day after getting to work on things I love to do, I get to go home and smile even more seeing them!
